The Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) has the authority to conduct SSC and HSSC annual and supply exams in the districts of Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal etc. All the public and private schools and colleges in these districts are affiliated with BISE Rawalpindi and thousands of regular students from these institutes and also numerous private students of these districts participate in the matric and intermediate annual exams every year. The 9th and 10th class annual exams are held in March and April, while the 11th and 12th classes exams are held in May and June. For both matric and intermediate exams, written papers are held earlier which are followed by practical papers. The rawalpindi board result will be in the month of agust.
